Child-sex remand

AN Oldham man has been charged with conspiracy to rape as part of an ongoing investigation into child sexual exploitation in Rochdale.
Kabeer Hassan (25), of Lacrosse Avenue, Werneth, appeared before Rochdale magistrates yesterday where he was remanded on conditional bail.
Abdul Qayyum (43), of Ramsay Street, Rochdale, was charged with two counts of sexual activity with a child and conspiracy to rape.
Both men will appear before Bolton Crown Court on July 6 for a pre-trial hearing.
